What Participants Have Shared
Phuket Town, Thailand
"The Memory Keeping session was exactly the kind of space my family had been putting off creating for years. The prompt booklet helped my mother speak about things she had never thought to put into words. We left with three pages of notes that now feel like genuine family records."

Patong, Phuket
"As a British expat living in Phuket for twelve years, I had accumulated a rather disorganised collection of documents across two countries. The Records Toolkit session helped me build a proper system. It took longer than I expected to implement at home, but the filing guide made it manageable."

"The Legacy Literacy Course gave my husband and me a shared language for conversations that had always felt uncomfortable. I appreciated how carefully the facilitators kept to educational territory — it felt safe to explore questions without expecting anyone to tell us what to do."

Kamala, Phuket
"I came to the Memory Keeping session without particularly high expectations, thinking it might feel superficial. Instead I found it genuinely well-structured. The group was small enough to feel meaningful, and the facilitator had clearly thought about how to make prompts work for people who are not naturally storytellers."

Mueang Phuket
"The Records Toolkit was practical and well-organised. I had been meaning to sort my household documents properly for years, and this session gave me both the framework and the motivation to do it. The maintenance guide has helped me keep things in order since."
Records Organisation Toolkit · May 2025
Rawai, Phuket
"My wife and I completed the Legacy Literacy Course across two months. What we valued most was that the course consistently respected our right to draw our own conclusions. The family meeting session was handled with real skill — our children came away with a better shared understanding without any tension."

How the Sessions Have Helped
Situation
A Thai family with three adult children and an elderly parent whose memories of family history had never been recorded. Documents were scattered, and the family had no shared understanding of what was held where.
What They Did
Attended the Memory Keeping Session together, then the parent completed the Records Organisation Toolkit individually with facilitator support.
Outcome
A written family history of over forty pages, a sorted document filing system, and the family's first shared conversation about what mattered to each of them.
Situation
A couple in their late fifties, retired to Phuket, with assets in two countries and no clear record of how their documents and wishes were organised. One partner wanted to address this; the other was hesitant.
What They Did
Both attended the Legacy Literacy Course together. The neutral structure helped the hesitant partner engage at their own pace rather than feeling pushed.
Outcome
A clearer shared vocabulary for discussing next steps, a completed filing framework for each country's documents, and an agreement to engage professional advisers with a more informed starting point.
Situation
A sole business owner in Phuket who had no personal record system beyond a drawer of mixed documents. She wanted to understand what she should have organised, but not yet invest in professional services.
What She Did
Completed the Records Organisation Toolkit service, working through the templates at the session and then refining her system at home over three weeks.
Outcome
A personal records system that separated household and business documents clearly, a checklist of what was still missing, and a stronger sense of what she wanted to address next.
